Welcome Visitors

Our eldest son and his girlfriend have been with us this weekend, checking out our new home.  Thankfully they've given it their seal of approval!  When asked, tongue in cheek, whether they'd be back the response was "yes, with friends" - the ultimate compliment I think!

The weather has once again been kind to us so we took the opportunity to take a walk out locally: we took the scenic route down into the village this morning

followed by lunch at The Board Inn, our first meal in our new local;  Ian said it was one of the best roasts he's ever had.  What we really liked about the menu was that it told us where all the produce was sourced, most of it locally.

We mused over the dartboard in the bar - can you see what's different?  Looks like Ian is going to have to learn a whole new set of rules if he wants to play up here!
